The dodge G507...a lot of progress on the detailing,decals,bevels,paint,electronics.

The jeep (build II) ,chassis is ready, top build will start soon , probably willl become a Land Rover Defender Camel Trophy style.

The Dodge charger , aka General Lee, fun project, to make something not military from remaining parts.

Geepstar - transported to the paintshop (thanks Hans!)

The Geepstar has been picked up. My Uncle Hans will take this job , I'll add pictures of the progress as i get them.

Dodge G507 - the first run

Today we placed the the steering assembly , wired up the frame, embedded the controller, added some batteries ..

Then we opened the gate and drove it on the street for a spin, besides some problems on engaging the run itself was satisfying, decent speed, easy steering, even in (very) rough terrain it is performing well.

Geepstar details and truck progress

The geepstar is going to be picked up this weekend to get a paint job...

( thanks upfront to my uncle Hans for taking this tidious job out of my hands)

So i needed to swap vehicles in the shop again , pullin gout the truck frame and pushing back in the geepstar.

(man , i wish I had a bigger shop .. .:(  )

The truck is currently outside , whilst doing all these moving around I made some pictures , the steering rig is also in the make,once this is ready things will go fast as the body-CAD designs are 75% ready.

Geepstar on its wheels , dodge on the bench.

This weekend we lowered the scissor lift, after holding up the Geepstar for 3 months

In one go we dragged in the Truck partss and started welding the frame .

Dodge G507 : build about to begin

as all wheels and axles are in and the reduction shafts are milled on the lathe (thanks to Jev V.) I can now begin to finalize the CAD for the drive train , which is the first stage of the build .
